LEGAL Your data, plainly

Who we are. Clean Ducts is a trading brand of Gemini AMPM Ltd (part of AMPM Group), the data controller for information collected through this website. Contact us at any office listed below or on 0330 043 0080.
What we collect. When you use the enquiry form we collect only what you give us: your name, your email address or phone number, and the details of your building and enquiry. We don’t ask for anything we don’t need to respond to you.
Why, and the legal basis. We use it to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey and quote for work. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a request you have made, and the steps necessary to enter into a contract. Leads generated by Clean Ducts are delivered and invoiced by Gemini AMPM Ltd, so your enquiry is handled within the same group.
Who processes it. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; form submissions are checked for spam (Cloudflare Turnstile) and delivered to us by email (Resend); the cookie banner is provided by CookiePal; our lead-tracking system runs on Cloudflare. These providers process the data only for those purposes. We don’t sell your data.
Cookies and consent. When you first visit, a cookie banner (provided by CookiePal) asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept, reject or choose, and change your mind at any time. Until you accept, Google’s advertising and analytics tags run with storage switched off (Google Consent Mode), so nothing is stored on your device for those purposes. Cookies we may set once you accept: Google advertising and analytics cookies, so we can measure which ads lead to enquiries; and ampm_attr, a first-party cookie kept for up to 90 days that remembers which advertisement brought you here (for example the Google Ads click ID and campaign). The cookie that records your banner choice (cookiepal-consent) is strictly necessary. The anti-spam check is privacy-preserving and does not profile you.
Tracking enquiries to advertising. When you send an enquiry, we also record, with it, which advertisement or page brought you to the site (if known), so we can tell which marketing produces real work. This is held in the group’s lead-tracking system alongside your enquiry details. If you have accepted advertising cookies, we may tell Google Ads that an enquiry became a job so its advertising can improve; this uses the ad click ID, not your name or contact details. If you reject advertising cookies, the ad click is still noted for that single visit but nothing is stored on your device.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and to meet our legal and insurance obligations, after which it is deleted. Enquiry records in our lead-tracking system are kept for up to 24 months, then anonymised (your name and contact details are removed and only marketing statistics remain). Advertising click IDs are not kept beyond 90 days.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Email us and we’ll respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
This notice covers the Clean Ducts website only. For the full group privacy policy, see Gemini AMPM.
